Is Mt. Vernon, Baltimore, Maryland pet friendly?
The Mt. Vernon cultural district of Baltimore, Maryland isn’t the most dog-friendly neighborhood in Baltimore City, but it’s coming around. I like to go places with my dog, Chai,—it gets her out of the house. Here are some dog-friendly places I’ve taken Chai in the neighborhood:
Plaza Art Materials
1009 Cathedral Street
(just a few steps from Pretentious Pooch)
They have a sign up that says well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome.
Iggies
Grown-up pizza
818 N Calvert St.
(a short walk from Pretentious Pooch)
They welcome dogs into the casual, counter-service, gourmet pizza restaurant.
City Café
Coffee Café and Restaurant
1001 Cathedral Street
(just at the end of the block from Pretentious Pooch)
From about Memorial Day to Labor Day they put out tables on the sidewalk and you can dine with your dog.
Do you know of any other establishments in the Mt. Vernon neighborhood that are dog friendly?
